An original market town of Petworth surrounded with the historic villages the rural nature of the surrounding area is indeed beautiful across all the seasons that is why I enjoy being a photograher in Petworth.

The vast late 17th-century mansion is set in a beautiful 283-hectare (700-acre) deer park, landscaped by ‘Capability’ Brown and immortalised in Turner’s paintings. The house contains the National Trust’s finest collection of pictures, with numerous works by Turner, Van Dyck, Reynolds and Blake, ancient and Neo-classical sculpture, fine furniture and carvings by Grinling Gibbons. The servants’ quarters contain fascinating kitchens (including a copper batterie de cuisine of more than 1,000 pieces) and other service rooms. On weekdays additional rooms in the house are open by kind permission of Lord and Lady Egremont.

One of my most prefferd locations to photograph is Petworth park, be it in the wood areas taking portrates of familys having fun in the park a great area for a diffrent kind of photo shoot the is also lots  open parts of the park where you can take landscape Photographs.

The grounds of Petworth House have hosted a season of open air summer concerts, which are one of the highlights of the Petworth International Festival. whith so much happening with in Petworth This is why I love to be a Photographer in Petworth,
